PHL FACILITIES

Patients are registered at the reception and are seen on first come, first serve basis. Patients have the right to consult any doctor/consultant. In OPD, clinical consultation is provided to patients which includes history taking, Physical examination, diagnosis and providing prescription to patients besides advising laboratory tests in some cases. OPD has a waiting zone with chairs, a TV, public utilities like drinking water and toilets is located in front of the Groud Floor. Wheel chairs, trolleys and attendants are there to help very sick patients.

Newspapers are supplied to all rooms and wards. We have also made arrangements to keep some commonly read magazines in all the wards. Please call the ward secretary or the nurse in-charge in case you need this service.

PHL maintains the highest level of cleanliness. Housekeeping Department looks after the cleanliness of your room. Wards are cleaned and bed linen and towels are changed on a daily basis. All your laundry is processed in our in-house laundry service. Housekeeping Desk can be contacted on 24hours hotline 01987-851647 for change of linen, additional cleaning, etc.

We petition your cooperation and support in keeping the hospital clean. Help us in making this hospital an environment friendly zone:

  • • Kindly avoid flushing any materials like cotton bandages, sanitary napkins, etc. in the toilet
  • • Please do not chew betel leaf/betel nut/smoke/drink alcohol in hospital premises
  • • Please do not dispose waste/rubbish anywhere except into the bins provided for the purpose. As per infection control norms, we have provided four categories of bins in all convenient places and washrooms. Please dispose the waste as marked on the bins.

PHL provides patients accommodation based on patient criteria. All types of services are available including luxurious facilities. Cabin and Ward facilities both are available for patients. Cabin are enriched with AC, LED TV, IP Phone and so on.

Nurse Call System provides with one console at each nursing station using advanced electronic system consisting of an indicator console located at the nurse’s station.

The hospital provides ambulance facility for attending to the emergency from outside and bring the casualties/ emergency patients to the hospital for treatment. Ambulance is available for the patients who are discharged and are recommended for complete rest. This facility will be available on payment basis with a fixed minimum charge and additional charge depending upon the distance. The ambulance will have all modern first aid facilities with ambu bags and oxygen.

The hospital has lift facility for the movement of patients, doctors, stretchers, and wheel chairs, Visitors etc.

The PHL provides well organized cafeteria which is located at Basement floor of the hospital. Different types of foods are available for the patients and other people of hospital.

Pharmacy provides most common medicine to the patients in a reasonable price and provides 24/7 services.

Trained laboratory staff are providing best services. Laboratory is also available for carrying out Specialised tests in PHL Hospital. Our laboratory is well organized with latest equipment’s.

To ensure that all the operational activities of the hospital are running smoothly in the odd hours of night and on holidays, we have dedicated Duty Manager who ensures that both patients and doctors receive proper support and coordination. Call our Duty Manager at 01987-851647 for any assistance.

Diet is an integral part of patient medication. Therefore, food from outside source is discouraged. Dieticians, in association with your doctor, will assess your diet needs. You are advised to follow the dieting instructions specified by them for speedy recovery. Religious sentiments of the patients will be considered while deciding on the diets. Kindly inform the dietician of the same.

Our service timings are: 

  • • Breakfast: 7.00 am – 8.15 am
  • • Mid-Morning Soup: 10.00 am – 11.00 am
  • • Lunch: 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm
  • • Evening tea with biscuits: 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm
  • • Dinner: 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm

Note: 

  • • We will provide NG feed every 2 hours interval for critical care patients from 6 am to 12 am.
  • • Please feel free to discuss any doubt regarding your diet with your dietician.
  • • Once a diet has been designed for your specific needs, we do not advocate any change in quantity or otherwise; it may be detrimental to your health.
